It’s official, Water School Haiti is now a legally registered non-profit, locally known as Lekol Dlo Ayiti! With this solid foundation in place, the coming months will be devoted to bringing the Water School program to even more communities, while following up on those we are already active within.
As we enter the rainy season, the possibility of another cholera outbreak is high. In Cap Haïtien and surrounding villages where we are at work, the threat is demonstrably lower. Word of our success is spreading and the list of requests from other organizations wanting to implement the Water School program is growing exponentially.
While we have achieved great progress in Haiti, there is still much work to be done. Increasing Water School’s visibility worldwide and spreading our message will help to save lives. Thank you all for your continued support.
